# Preferences

**Reminder Preferences**

In Aerofiler, you can configure a switch which will notify users when adding or deleting reminders:

This operates as follows:

* Notification on adding reminders will generate an email for the user when a document reminder is created for them
* Notification on deleting reminders will generate an email for the user when one of their document reminders is deleted
