# Individual Document Reminders

Any contract in the repository can have renewal and notice reminders set. To begin, click “Add Reminder”:

Optionally, you can enter a reminder note which will appear in the email reminder that gets sent.&#x20;

Lastly, enter the number of days in advance of the event, after which the reminder will be sent. The two events available by default are:&#x20;

* Renewal or expiry dates&#x20;
* Notice deadlines&#x20;

Key date reminders will also be available as key dates are added. This is addressed in a further section below.&#x20;
